Metronome Magazine is a FREE little b/w monthly zine covering the northern New England music scene. You can find it at various music-related locales in the area. They apparently haven't discovered the internet yet, so we have no link for them, but that's cool - they're keeping it real with the quaint parochialism so prevalent to this particular locale. They probably keep themselves warm during the harsh New England winter nights with wood stoves, not gas, and Metronome Magazine is probably mass-produced on the same printing presses that they used for stuff by dudes like Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Paine. In April 2006, their local CD person Douglas Sloan reviewed The Accident That Led Me To The World's debut CD:
"Acoustic-based songs that range in style from backporch blues to hillbilly chants to lullabies to early Simon & Garfunkel songs passionately resonate from this well-produced 12-song CD by The Accident That Led Me To The World. Band members Mark Mandeville, Raianne Richards, and Zack Ciras employ all acoustic instruments to create these raw, yet highly effective, songs. Mandeville's vocals are filled with urgency while Richards' capably sweet backing voice lends glue to their messages. Powerful and emotive, The Accident proves that the less-is-more approach always holds interest and value. Good stuff!"
